In general, if you are flying, you will most likely fly into Syracuse Hancock International (SYR) airport, which is located about an hour from campus. Airports in Binghamton, Rochester, and Albany are also options but are 1.5 hrs, 2.5 hrs, and 2 hrs, respectively.
If you are driving, in most cases, your last hour will be on two lane roads. The New York State thruway I-90 runs east-west and is about 30 minutes from campus where it passes through Canastota. If you are driving north on I-81, you will get off near Binghamton and follow route 12 north for another 1.5 hrs.
